In light of the death of Pope Francis, and the subsequent postponement of the canonisation of Blessed Carlo Acutis, the parish will reschedule the ‘Celebration of Carlo Acutis’ that was to be held at Newry Cathedral at 5.30pm this coming Sunday to a later date.
The 5.30pm Mass in the Cathedral on Sunday 27th April will be offered instead for Pope Francis with the participation of young people in the liturgy.
The celebration Mass will be rescheduled to align with the new canonisation date.
