Join our experts for a 90-minute tour of the cathedral to hear the fascinating tales behind one of Ireland’s most spectacular churches.

Following the interest shown in the guided tours of Newry Cathedral over the past six years, there will be a further series of guided tours of the Cathedral on the following dates:

Wednesday 29 May 2019 at 7.00pm

Wednesday 19 June at 2.00pm

Wednesday 17 July 2019 at 2.00pm

Wednesday 31 July 2019 at 7.00pm (This tour on the 31 July will focus only on the images in the stained glass windows of Cathedral.)

Wednesday 14 August 2019 at 2.00pm

Wednesday 28 August 2019 at 7.00pm

Each tour will take approximately 90 minutes

Please meet at the main door of the Cathedral. You will hear the story of the building of the Cathedral, 1825 -1829, and of the later extensions. The history of its stained glass, marble altars, sculptures and magnificent mosaics will also be explained.

There is no charge for these tours.
