Sincere thanks to the choirs of St. Joseph’s High School and St. Mary’s High School for a feast of music in the Cathedral on Sunday evening past. It was delightful. Thanks so much to the teachers, Mrs Sharon Byrne, Mrs Susan Ferguson and Mrs Karina Cunningham for your hard work preparing the students so wel. Congratulations to the soloists who sang so beautifully. Nathan, the guitarist is so talented, and we appreciate you sharing your talent with us. The students deserved the standing ovation which they received immediately, showing an enthusiastic approval and deep appreciation of their performance.
Thanks to our parishioners for your support of our wonderful Cathedral, the mother Church of the Diocese which will be 200 years old on 30th April 2029.
We invite many more of the parishioners of Newry to give their support to the Cathedral as we prepare to celebrate the bicentenary.
