Together for Our Parish – A Call to Action
Newry Cathedral Parish is at a turning point.
We are carrying a debt of £1.37 million, and our weekly income no longer meets the essential costs of running our parish. But this is not just a financial crisis – it’s a community one.
Mass attendance has declined. Fewer people are involved in parish life. And yet, our beautiful Cathedral, our ministries, and our parish family remain a source of strength, comfort, and hope for so many.

Set up a recurring offering
It’s easy!
Making regular contributions by standing order is easy, secure and fuss free
Setting up is easy and it means that you can safely and securely support your parish each month without drawing cash, filling envelopes and delivering them to the parish.
You’re in control
You decide the amount you contribute and that set amount is automatically debited from your bank account each month. You can cancel any time you want by contacting your bank.
With Gift Aid your monthly donation goes further
Income Tax or Capital Gains Tax payers can also authorise the parish to claim an additional 25p for each £1 donated, at no further expense to them, through the Gift Aid program.
