Seven priests have now been ordained from the Redemptoris Mater Seminary, Dundalk, and two are with us in Newry Parish. There are currently seventeen students in formation for the priesthood.
The Seminary building is too small and needs to be expanded. We have been asked if we could help by taking up a collection to contribute to the funding of the extension project.
Seminarians will attend all Masses in Newry Cathedral, St Brigid’s, St Mary’s and Saval Parish (Shinn and Sheeptown) on the weekend 4-5 May 2024 to introduce themselves and to help with the music (if needed).
