A day of prayer for vocations in our diocese will be held in Newry Cathedral this coming Thursday, 21st March. The programme for the day is as follows:
There will be exposition from 9.00am until 9.00pm.
Fr. Carlos will celebrate the Mass at 10.30am. The P4 children from the six primary schools are invited to attend. After the Mass Fr. Carlos will expose the Blessed Sacrament and will spend 15 minutes in prayer with the pupils.
11.30, Fr. Carlos will pray the stations of the cross.
12.00noon, Reflection of the life of Blessed Carlo Acutis, Canon Francis.
From 3.00pm until 4.00pm, Fr. Alphonsus will pray with the Divine Mercy Group.
7.00- 7.30pm Evening prayer of the Church, Fr. Carlos.
7.30pm, Blessing with the relic of Blessed Carlo Acutis.
8.30pm, Mass will be celebrated by Fr. Alphonsus, praying for vocations to the priesthood for the diocese of Dromore.
