To mark both the visit of Pope Francis to our country one year ago, and the 40th anniversary of Pope St John Paul II’s visit, Archbishop Eamon Martin will lead a short prayer service ‘For Ireland and for Humanity’ on September 29 at 5pm at the Papal cross near Drogheda.
Archbishop Eamon has invited the faithful in the Diocese of Dromore and the Archdiocese of Armagh to join him by coming together at the same time in their parishes.
Join us in Newry Cathedral just before the 5.30pm Mass on Sunday 29th September.
Further details to come.
