Cathedral Garden

Newry CathedralNews

The Cathedral Garden is a very useful asset at the side of the Cathedral. However, it needs some care to make it the beautiful space it can be. It would be appreciated if some interested parishioners would form a group to do what is necessary to restore the garden to its former beauty. The groundsman will continue to cut the grass and keep it neat and tidy but a group to look after the flower beds is needed. It is a place, should a couple wish to take photographs in the garden following their wedding ceremony, would be able to do so. It would also be great to have the garden available for the P4 children to take photographs after their First Holy Communion and the P7 children to take photographs after their confirmation. If you are interested in being part of this group, contact Canon Francis.
