There are three priests belonging to our Diocese of Dromore currently serving in our parish. Two Polish priests also serve in Newry, one from the Society of Christ and one diocesan priest. There is also a community of Dominican priests and brothers. Together, they serve the needs of some 29,000 people in Newry Parish.
Administrator: Canon Francis Brown
Canon Francis, a native of Hilltown, was ordained on 9th June 1974. He is the former President, and a past pupil, of St. Colman’s College, Newry.
Fr Alphonsus Chukwunenye
Fr Alphonsus is a Missionary of St. Paul from Nigeria. He was appointed as curate in Newry Parish in September 2020.
Fr Carlos Esteban Rojo
Fr Carlos Esteban Rojo (from Spain) is on loan from the Archdiocese of Armagh. He was ordained in May 2023 by Archbishop Eamon Martin.

Sisters of Saint Clare
