Today at the 12noon Mass in Newry Cathedral, Archbishop Eamon Martin conferred the ‘Rite of Lector’ upon the Candidates preparing to become Permanent Deacons for the Archdiocese of Armagh and the Diocese of Dromore. The Rite of Lector is one milestone in the process of formation for permanent deacons. Our congratulations to the candidates as they continue their journey towards ordination as deacons.
