Diocese of Dromore
Anthony Moffett from the parish of Dromore is undertaking hospital chaplaincy training in Cork, while Philip McParland from the parish of Newry is beginning second year in Maynooth.
Meanwhile we are delighted that Dr Mark McDonnell from the parish of Saval will be travelling to Valladolid, Spain as a new seminarian to begin propaedeutic (preparatory) studies.
Archdiocese of Armagh – Neocatechumenal Way
Ryan Markey of Newry, an adult altar server for Newry Cathedral, will also begin his preparatory year at the Redemptoris Mater Seminary in the Archdiocese of Armagh.
We pray for them and for more vocations to priesthood in our diocese.
